Poland takes on Portugal in the quarterfinals and the only thing going well for Portugal is that they knocked off a tough Croatian team in the first knockout round. Poland had a great round robin and nearly knocked off Germany in their game against them. Poland did win on penalties to get to the quarterfinals but they are still a team that seem to be getting stronger with every game that passes.

Portugal on the other hand are a team where you never know what you'll get whether Cristiano Ronaldo will show up or not. Their win against Croatia is still a win but Croatia could have and should have stolen that game from them.

At 3/1 odds for Poland to win, it is tempting but also a risky proposition. We think a draw at 2/1 odds is still a good payout on 2 fairly evenly matched teams and it should be a defensive game overall.

So far we are seeing the best odds at betting exchanges like Smarkets so it's best to pay attention to those odds. Overall people tend to bet more and more money on favourites and you might get odds approaching 4/1 odds for Poland or greater than 2/1 odds for a draw. Take the 2/1 odds now or you can wait for maybe 5/2 or better.
