Let's face it, England have played terrible the whole tournament so betting on England to win doesn't make sense on a team that just never performs. Iceland on the other hand are playing exceptional football and their qualification in the Euro 2016 wasn't a joke either. Despite that people are not giving Iceland credit for being a good team. They almost won their group and the team are looking for more than just their success to date.

Betting for Iceland to win or a draw could be a good call. Betting on England to win is going to be a costly bet.

What we like about the draw is that England are not very organized on the offensive side of football. They have good individual players that on paper should beat Iceland but Iceland probably have their own momentum going into the match. Iceland are great at holding teams to low scoring affairs and they are more than capable of running a smart counter attack and drawing a team into an offensive risk.

With odds of 17/2 for Iceland to win, that is also a good payout which is better than 8/1 odds. Personally I like both options but the draw might be the safest bet as teams tend to play not to lose rather than to win.
